What the customer gets

A manageable site instead of disconnected systems

Cameras, access control, terminals, sensors, records services and reporting work as one infrastructure. The customer sees events and indicators in a single environment, reduces manual records and gets a foundation for further site development.

  • Events on site are recorded automatically

  • Roles, access and reporting are configured around customer workflows

  • Hardware and software modules work in one environment

  • Management receives consolidated data without manual collection

  • The system can expand in stages without replacing the base platform

  • One team owns deployment and support

KazTechElectronics covers the full cycle: development, manufacturing, deployment and support

The OTAN platform provides a ready foundation, while modules, hardware and integrations are configured for a specific site or network of sites.

What we develop and deploy

The OTAN platform adapts to different site types

We do not sell isolated devices: we select the configuration for the customer's objective, connect hardware and data, deploy the system and support it after launch.

OTAN platform

One technology foundation instead of disconnected systems

OTAN connects hardware, events, user roles and reporting into a managed system. The customer receives infrastructure that can be supported and developed — not just a set of devices.

On site

  • Turnstiles and access control
  • Face ID and card terminals
  • Cameras and sensors
  • Scanners and information displays

OTAN platform

Identification · events · records · reporting

  • Open APIs and integrations
  • Social Wallet and external services
  • Local or centralised deployment

Who gets the outcome

  • Site administrator — sees events, access and reports in one interface

  • Security team — receives alarm events and entry history

  • Operations staff — works with records, services and requests without paper journals

  • Management — gets consolidated indicators across sites and branches

  • IT and integrators — connect external systems through APIs and agreed interfaces

OTAN Big Data Center

The systems are built on the domestic OTAN Big Data Center platform — a flexible, scalable open-architecture complex for stream processing of large data volumes using neural networks and artificial intelligence.

Processes streams of

  • Real-time video and audio
  • Web pages and live broadcasts
  • Telemetry and sensor data
  • Structured and unstructured datasets

Assembled from modules

  • Processing is done by specialised modules — the system's building blocks
  • The platform manages modules and synchronises data flows
  • The chosen modules define what a given system does
  • Topologies: hierarchical, parallel, cascade, distributed

What it gives the customer

  • Open architecture and protocols — freedom to choose hardware and contractors
  • Ready-made neural-network analytics modules
  • Third-party software and hardware can be plugged in
  • Individual modules can be replaced without rebuilding the system
  • Runs on a server cluster with no single point of failure

Software assets

In-house software: from the platform to complete systems

Each product is registered as a computer program. The base platforms set the architecture, while applied systems — including OTAN MEKTEP — are assembled on top of them, which speeds up deployment and simplifies support.

OTAN Platform

The base platform with an open modular architecture — the common foundation for the company's other solutions.

OTAN MEKTEP

A complete school digitalisation system assembled on the OTAN platform: access, attendance, meals, library, timetable and notifications in one environment.

OTAN Security Center

A platform for building security systems: video, voice and message streams handled by modules that can be added or removed without stopping the system.

OTAN Document Center

An information-management platform: stream processing of documents, scans, audio and video in multi-server mode with an open API.

OTAN Web Platform

The basis for high-load distributed web applications: load balancing, guaranteed-delivery queues, authentication and network security.

NAUKA

Management of data and resources for research, scientific and educational organisations: projects, studies, analytics and visualisation.

Configured for the customer

A ready platform, configured for your site

OTAN provides a ready technology foundation, while modules, roles, routes, reporting and integrations are configured for a specific site, institutional network or region.

A row of turnstiles with recognition terminals at an education site

The exact solution scope is fixed after a site survey and an agreed technical specification.

  • Ready technology base

The OTAN platform, software modules and hardware systems do not need to be assembled from scratch for every project.

  • Modular deployment

Start with the environment you need and expand without replacing the underlying platform.

  • Infrastructure integration

Connect hardware, external services and information systems through available interfaces and APIs.

  • Workflow-specific development

Configure roles, reports, business logic and user journeys against an agreed technical specification.

Flagship proof case

OTAN MEKTEP shows how the platform works in real operation

At education sites, the platform connects entry, attendance, meals, the library, notifications and reports. This experience proves the company's ability to deploy complex systems at city and regional scale.

01

Access control and management

Turnstiles and terminals identify students, staff and visitors by face or card and keep outsiders out of the school.

02

Subsidised meal records

Automatic counting of grade 1–4 students and SUSN children who received canteen meals: each child is counted once per meal.

03

Cashless canteen payments

Meals by face or card with no cash or smartphone; parents see purchase history and set spending limits.

04

Social Wallet subsystem

Integration with the state meal programme for SUSN children: a child receives their meal just like everyone else.

05

Timetable and information displays

The current timetable, announcements, news and school content on any number of screens across the school.

06

Electronic library

Barcodes and RFID tags, fast lending and returns, stock protection against removal and quick inventory.

07

Video surveillance and analytics

Monitoring of premises and grounds with an event archive and AI analytics working alongside access control.

08

Parent control

Messages to parents about when a child enters and leaves school and about school-service events.

09

Command centre feed

Real-time delivery of complete information on the school's current state to the regional command centre.

10

Reports and statistics

Consolidated attendance, meal and event statistics for administrators and education departments.

OTAN MEKTEP is one product environment on the OTAN platform. The configuration is tailored to each site and can expand in stages.

Questions

What to know before starting a project

Are you a manufacturer or an integrator?

Both. KazTechElectronics develops software, manufactures hardware and software systems in Kazakhstan, and delivers turnkey deployments.

Can the solution be tailored to our site?

Yes. OTAN is modular: roles, reports, scenarios, integrations and hardware scope are configured after a site survey and fixed in the technical specification.

Can existing equipment be reused?

Integration options are confirmed after a site survey. We assess interfaces, protocols, equipment condition and information-security requirements.

Where is data stored?

The storage architecture is defined by the technical specification and site category. Components can be deployed on the customer's local infrastructure where required.

Why can your figures be trusted?

We only publish figures with a date and a source: official customer letters, certificates with reference details and the open public procurement register where every completed contract is visible.

Does the company work outside education?

Yes. Education is the most visible public proof case for the platform, but the portfolio includes solutions and completed deliveries for government, corporate, scientific, cultural and infrastructure sites.

How is pricing calculated?

Following a survey, we prepare an equipment configuration, integration scope, delivery stages and an initial estimate for the specific site.

Discuss a project

We will configure the solution for your site

Tell us about the site and objective. We will prepare a solution outline, implementation stages and the inputs needed for an estimate.
